How it works

When you register for a personalised report with Sparkalign Australia, key information and details about your business are requested to assist with the review process.

Yout business report is developed in several stages:

1. Data collection: Various direct and indirect sources of data relevant to your business are collated and aggregated to generate statistical information

2. Staff survey: A survey is sent out to staff within the business to collect additional insight - this survey is anonymous, and no information is retained from respondents other than their responses to questions

3. Analysis: A review officer will analyse your business through a range of methods, documenting findings and providing ratings measured against key criteria and research-based evidence. Research is based on Australian Centre for Business Growth and the 10 key drivers for small business failure.

4. Report writing: Once all data and evidence has been assessed and ratings against each element entered, the report narrative is developed and cross-checked before it is provided to your nominated recipient as a draft document.

5. Draft report: Once you have reviewed the draft document, any revisions should be requested within 1 week of receiving the report draft.

6. Finalisation: The report will have recommendations for business owners to use or disregard at their individual discretion.

7. Once you have reviewed the report and all revisions completed, a finalised copy, along with a certificate and action plan template will be provided. All reports are considered valid for a period of twelve (12) months.

Additional information

Can I request help with implementing the recommendations?

In order to remain impartial, we typically refrain from direct provision of solutions to the recommendations in your report. We may however from time to time provide discount and access codes to external partners.
